Here are some resources I've complied over time! Enjoy!
See what books you could use in your classroom!
My Teachers Pay Teachers Store features all kinds of material you can use in your classroom!
One way students can document their research is to create a research wall, where each group can share what they learned that day in class by writing it down on an index card. Their index card can count as an exit slip and boost their motivation to add to the wall of work.
This is an anchor chart to support students writing their essays.
Set up a board in your classroom where students can write down the titles of books they have completed. We turned it into an official ceremony at the end of class that encouraged students and celebrated their accomplishments.
This is one way students documented their reading in their notebooks. They wrote down general jots and picked one in particular to write long about. Here is a model page you can show students.
Use pages of old books to act as the background of your board! It works for all seasons and looks great.
